Ease of Use
CYDECTIN Pour-On comes ready to use in applicator bottles, back packs or drums. A number of applicators have been tested with CYDECTIN Pour-On and several have proved suitable.
IMPROVED MILK PRODUCTION
The use of CYDECTIN Pour-On improves milk production in lactating dairy cows and increases gains in growing beef and dairy cattle exposed to parasite challenge.
A series of trials1 was carried out in New Zealand and Australia to examine the effects of CYDECTIN Pour-On on milk production at different treatment times. Regardless of the stage of lactation, treatment of dairy cows gave a significant increase. Treated cows were better able to maintain body weight, and showed better recovery in milk production after a drought. The benefits occurred despite heavy rainfall in one of the trials and were observed even when nematode challenge was low.
Broad Spectrum
CYDECTIN Pour-On is efficacious against roundworms, lungworm, lice and mites which infect cattle, and lungworm and roundworms of deer.
Safety to Target Animals
CYDECTIN Pour-On has a wide margin of safety when used at the recommended dose rate in all ages and breeds of cattle including pregnant cows and breeding bulls.
Effect on Dung Beetles
When applied as directed, the levels of moxidectin in the faeces of treated animals will not have any significant adverse effect on dung beetles.
Concurrent Use
CYDECTIN Pour-On is safe to use concurrently with other treatments in cattle including mineral supplements, fluke treatments and vaccines. It should not be applied at the same time as any other pour-on product.
