Simparica is an approved treatment for:
Fleas
Simparica gets to work fast and starts killing ticks within 12 hours11. Simparica offers pets protection from the New Zealand cattle tick (Haemaphysalis longicornis) and Brown Dog ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus). Sustained tick protection that lasts for a full 5 weeks.
Sarcoptic mange
After two treatments, Simparica eliminates Sarcoptes scabiei mites allowing skin condition to quickly improve
Demodex mites
Simparica is simple and effective, virtually wiping out (99.8%) demodex after one treatment1.
Ear mites
Simparica effectively wipes out Otodectes cynotis mites after a single treatment, eliminating them completely after two treatments13.
Flea Allergy Dermatitis or F.A.D. – Simparica also helps to control Flea Allergy Dermatitis or F.A.D., a skin condition in dog’s that are sensitive to fleas.

Simparica is available for dogs in the following weight ranges:
- 1.3-2.5 kg 5mg
- >2.5-5 kg 10mg
- >5-10 kg 20mg
- >10-20 kg 40mg
- >20-40kg 80mg
- >40kg Appropriate combination of tablets to achieve recommended dose of 2-4 mg/kg body weight
Available as a single monthly treatment or a 3 pack providing protection for 3months

For oral use. Remove one chew from the foil-backed blister card at time of monthly treatment, and then return the blister card to the carton. Simparica is a highly palatable flavoured chewable tablet, readily consumed by dogs when offered as a treat. If the tablet is ot taken up voluntarily by the dog, it can be given with a small amount of food or directly into the mouth.
For use in puppies from 8 weeks of age and weighing 1.3 kg or more.
Simparica is given orally every 5 weeks at the recommended minimum dosage of 2 mg/kg. For optimal flea & tick conrol Simparica should be administered at 5 weekly intervals throughout the year.

In the absence of aviable data, Simparica should not be used for the treatment of dogs less than 8 weeks of age and/or weighing less than 1.3 kg.
